Well, my disclaimer clearly said I'll likely make a mess of something beautiful. One of my favourite tracks though, the sample list is great and I'm sure it will be interesting. Not even started yet. Maybe make a start tomorrow night.

Bit behind the curve in the space race. Just completed phase 2. Took out a few kicks here and there, side chained one of the hat patterns to an off beat hat to de-clutter a little and reduced the attack on the whole drum bus with a transient shaper. Chopped one sample. Will have phase three...

Ok, I messed up! Didn't properly read the post or even realise there was a sample pack for the drums. Joa messaged and was like where did you get that vocal from? I Just got to chopping breaks as per usual when I make drums. Copped my first DQ! I'll have something else up by Saturday...

Congrats JG and GD. Cool idea to split the month up like this into beat parts. Enjoyed focusing on drums. How about least votes in drum round gets to pick sample? Or is that too out there?
