What are you listening to?

Accidentally found this incredible album tonight looking up random stuff about Pavement which I've been listening to a lot since my last post - but wow this album is nearly a 10/10 on first listen - the background on this album is so sad, wish there would be more to come but will definitely be going back now to his stuff as The Silver Jews

Hadn’t heard this until I saw your recommendation, and your right! What an album. Can’t stop listening to it. 👍👊

Same, this is my favorite discovery this year and probably impacted me the most in some years - I stand by my 10/10 comment, I’d probably put this in my personal top 10 albums ever now. Glad you enjoyed it as well! 👍👍

---Here's a bunch--- :: new austincrute album freeloot, David Byrne Who is the sky album, Siriusmo new track 'Koko', rochellejordan new album throughthewall, Dj Galen album theDeathofMusic, In the blue shirt album ep goodfaith, schlomo album repulsor, machinegirl psychowarrior mg ultrax. My favorite being Through The Wall. and since I've last been here there's two new sirrtmo albums on his bandcamp.

Was watching the Street Fighter movie teaser and they were playing a song that sounded like a Beastie Boys track I'd never heard before which immediately had me trying to figure it out if maybe there was some sorta lost recording or something they were using (mostly it was the nearly perfect Sabotage sounding yell part that threw me off lol) Ended up being a Joey Valence and Brae track which got me listening to all their albums - while that track Punk Tactics people may be quick to just say they sound like they're trying their best to impersonate the Beastie Boys, listening to all the albums it's clear they're doing a lot more than that - all of the albums are fun but I especially love their second one No Hands which I'd recommend!

Consistently one of the only people who makes music where I can't help but feel engaged. The entirety of this album is worth a play through.

I wasn't as big on the album previous to this Again - but this one was fantastic! Still needing to check out the Marty Supreme soundtrack, the one he did for Good Time was my riding the bus to work music for like 6 months after it came out 😅

I was at a record shop a few weeks ago and saw this Gilles Peterson two disk mix CD for like $5, wow it's been amazing https://www.discogs.com/master/86872-Gilles-Peterson-Worldwide-Programme-1

In particular, learned about Koop from the mix - all their albums are so good
