Same kinda wish they'd gone more of a period setting like samurai champloo but hey they tried something new (I agree tho was hella dissapointed when the mechs came in, like what?)

This was exactly my thought, especially that there was a sorta true story behind it - would have been cool if kept it more realistic vs the mechs/magic stuff. I still haven't finished it, but have listened to the soundtrack like 6 times now :lol:

New Vince Staples is great, I think it might be my favorite of his. Definitely my favorite Kenny Beats stuff, I've always thought he was a decent producer but this is the first complete project I've enjoyed a lot
