Damn - this was a tough choice, I have my top five favorites for the following reasons:

Alinea - Brownie point for the use of Goodnight Until Tomorrow - love the rap and all the transitions to new flips are dope too!

ruedenz - Love all the sweet effects you used on yours, this one was heavy!

MzFk - You made the battle feel even more hectic with the scratches :lol: - like if everyone's low on health or something! That middle section though, god damn so good.

Psych - Were the opera vocals from the game or the movie? I forgot, but you made this one sound even more sinister with your beat too

MOX - Love the bounce to your first one, still love that this sounds like something that could be on a juke box in the game.


Ultimately - my pick goes to Alinea! Nice work all around folks!

My vote has to go to Psychedelic Schitzophrenic. so intense and varied and i can tell a lot of effort went into it. Big ups!
Close runner up is MzFk but they were all bangin. great job ladz!

Ruedenz, Rs, Psych, MzFk all were in the running but Alinea takes it for me.
Great beat and I like how the various ideas flow into one another.

Felt there was a few too many choices on this last run. Sort of took away from the sample flip battle feel on this round but fun nonetheless.

Yoooo ! Glad you dig dat sheet, it was fun to do (man, FF7 is a gem, gameplay, story, feels... Dope, downside : it take me weeks to choose the sample haha) !

After 3 time of Sephiroth theme in my ears, I can say it out loud : You made this challenge and you killed it !

My vote go to PsyKDlicks SkyZoophreniks for this killer battle beat. Great job all around, especially fond of the flying beat of Ruedenz, The last parts of Mzfk and the 8bit feeling of Mox first beat !

Really going to go back and finish this as a mini "Sephiroth" E.P. at a later date

My entry idea was set about 15 to 18 years after the final battle in FF7, Cloud is finally tracked down by Sephiroth's son, who is hell bent of revenge and retribution for the loss of his father. Armed with his late fathers Masamune, an exchange of words, the sky literally turns black and a epic thunderstorm brews up as the scene is set for an epic battle.

Such a tough one as I liked them all (well done everyone) but ruedenz gets my vote. It's sounds like something that Cloud and company would be bumping in the buggy
