Sounds like this is shaping up really nicely. I ended up almost finishing my entry last weekend so no WIP from me this time i'm afraid!
I really like how having the time we do with the monthly battle meant I didn't have to go and rush a mix/master after a busy production session so i'll get that done this weekend then get my final entry posted.

This one was hard for me to flip, so I ended up adding a bunch of extra instruments and vox to it to fill it up. THe chops are still very central to the beat, you here them best in the intro.. Anyway, great challenge and I enjoyed it, psyched to listen to what everyone else cooked up!

Man due to my complete lack of ever getting on top of things as usual I left it till today to get started so I didn't get any WIP takes. Fancied a change of machine and got busy on the MPC 2000, all chops from my chosen track Copstail nothing outside used apart from the drums and Edmund Kemper vocal samples.

Started rather early and thought there is still so much time left. So I did other stuff, and now time is running out. NO TIME for the extra mile I desperately wanted to go as opposed to the weekly usual battle.
I went for a really grimy dark theme. Been listening to dj muggs, alchemist , roc marciano and stuff. So there's that instant influence. Hope u like it though.
