Shit, I was kinda wrong about the submissions going up though, thought there were like 10+ cause there were a lot of posts in the thread. Only 6? Well, the good thing is, those 6 knock damn hard, and are super different too. One thing I did not hear that clearly in general was the guitar solo rule and/or the time change (sorry if I missheard).
Anyhow:

There can just be 3 winners:

1. Bles24. Overall sound, deadly serious vibe. got me hooked instantly. and fresh guitar incoporated.
2. Joa. Really love how kick, snare and the rest of the percussion sound. good play with the stereo field too.
3. DT. Man 4 songs in one. from strangely peaceful parts (strange coming from u ofc) to the usual mad dopeness.

Nah I really meant a couple of beats. And you're right, I overread the melody part. I thought we had to put in a solo. No trouble

For me I used the guitar solo from 'Time' on my 1st beat but didn't use it as a 'solo', so to speak, as it had other samples building with it as well. I took care of the time-signature rule on the 2nd beat, just not exactly 7/4 into 4/4 - Just something like that

I think I made the mistake of sampling 'Comfortably Numb' for samples other than the guitar solo though :lol: Silly mistake

ah, that was all legit though .. only fixed rule was the clock/money perc
