Been awhile since I last competed! I used all the samples and some more.
Main Melody Sample: Lonnie's "Silhouettes"
Drums: Les McCann's "Harlem Buck Dance Strut"
BG SFX: Konstantin Wecker
For my personal touch, I used my own record scratching in the song and went for a raw and gritty style.

the last weeks of tributes were fun.. however i'm happy to be back to my * non-conforming ways again !
another *personal touch is i often fill the whole background with sounds/ foley corresponding with the raps.. kept it at two subtle instances in this case
everything, including drums from the samples.. outside bass only
Biggie and DMX duet !
