Did my own spin on the Dilla flow, which was really fun and unexpected at times. Hope you guys like it!

Hey yo, challenge after challenge, despite all the variety of samples, I find myself gravitating toward minimalism, raw sketches, and a repetitive loop. I think, as a J Dilla tribute, this can work as a concept

paying homage to the rapper, in this case.. i think he shines on this beat.
tributes are special, i usually meditate and invoke the artist somehow..
he mighta been 'looking over my shoulder' ..it feels like he approves.

i'm sad we don't get to hear what he coulda.. would've done musically..
but also if he mighta rapped about some more profound, personal stuff at a later age..
flow's dope !

drums are pretty tight but don't worry they're not quantized

heard some very sweet ish already !
