You are right Joa, the point was more to make a song in the style of Madlib beat with some skits and cartoon/serie samples, with an Intro and an Outro !
Also DOOM was not mandatory,
but glad every one feels the Madvillain connection here !
And yeah from Madvillain to Jaylib to Dilla 20th anniversary next week

ah, okay.. i don't think it was clear to most what you exactly meant.. not that it mattered for the outcome which was great !

maybe for future reference ..as we have some new members and stuff.. and there's also the occasional language barriers we bump into:

if one makes rules.. and when one puts:

Make a beat in the style of Madlib and MF DOOM (MADVILLAIN) "ALL CAPS"

that's ^^ like the main rule ..

Use at least one sample and add some vocals skits
Acaps, Outsides samples etc are allowed​

..and these are ^^ specifications..

( Try to make a beat with some variations, Intro & Outro, in any genre ! )

in brackets and saying 'try' are more like suggestions ^^
