thanks everybody for keeping this thing we got, going

Ras said if we won the honor would be mine to throw up the new week and year

so i picked some good'uns from my sample folder

i wish i was at my home p.c. daw for these samples though ! especially for tuning them 😅

Rules:
flip the 2 melodic ones into 1 track ..make use of the 3rd file/ break somehow too

*for the Longevity part.. have a bit of a drawn out drum/perc break. intro /interlude/ outro.. ..Curtis Mayfield's Movin on up comes to mind..

i heard some weren't on time to order them.. ..likely we'll do something similar for STBB #1000 in just a few months

Sadly I didn’t but I’ll hop on the 1000 one for sure
 

I tuned up the 2 melodic samples first and then chopped them on my sampler. Used the third sample as a tambourine/hihat loop. Added 8bit sounds to finish it up!

As for the longevity thing idk, I recorded the bassline in one take to get more variations, I guess that counts too!

when i listened.. i thought your outro was intended for the rule (?)

haven't listened to all tracks thoroughly yet.. but i had the idea more might be missing the drum / perc break (?)
