Nice samples....
Saturday afternoon cook up,
I flipped the Black Sugar sample.
I used a spectral gate on the sample....
gives it that sort of LFO with a band pass going on...
A plugin I don't normally use
pitched it down -3
Just added some drums.
92 Bpm

Black Sugar sample . Used Unfiltered audio Needlepoint. Basically an updated Vinyl that allows you to manipulate the sample in the Daw.

Normally i start with the sample, then the beat, then the acap !
I flipped it around and do the opposite, start with the acap and so on !
I made the chops on my SP404, then work with my Maschine
And I used a new plugin called CUBA and make a twist at the end of the track... I let you guys discover it

Used some stereo shaper and limiter techniques I hadn’t tried before.Peace

started with aca and speech, then drums a bit. I'd usually start with the sample.

I used the Gheseh and Sleeper samples, pitched around and layered them up, added drums and accapella.

Decided to use WavesFactory EchoCat which I picked up a while ago and never really touched, gives a nice dreamy wobbly vibe I think.

I'm travelling at the moment without headphones, so apologies for the laptop speaker mix haha.

Two entries this week, one non-entry. Tried some different stuff with both. For Tunnel Vision I used the SP 404 MK2 for the main beat with the sleeper sample and added several layers of my Hydrasynth afterwards, don't usually do that too much. And for Cold/Heat I used a (nearly) complete acapella with the Gheseh and Black Sugar samples, another thing I don't usually do.

Congrats Super Sen! used the sleeper track... experimented with free black Friday VSTs and some i got at a good price... played around with alot of Volume, Stereo, filter, pitch and panning automation...

In this weeks disquiet Junto we had to use an Omnichord plugin so I decided to take another stab at that instruments. It is kinda of a cool arp thingy.

I ended up making 2 (kinda) mellow beats using two of the samples!

Not much of a workflow change for me, except the fact that I'm switching to ableton live so everything is new in that sense. With these beats, I've tried using some of the onboard effects like the autopan tremolo and ableton's synth engine for the bass and leads!

Tried to make something with less prominent drums, recorded percussion through the sp404's built in microphone, chops were made in koala, downtuned and resampled into the sp, drenched it in some outside synth from Qibrd, vocal chops from Pharoah Monche...live cut recorded from the sp, pretty loose, levels and simple edit in audacity...

I make my first track ever in jungle rythm style.
It was very fun to create this kind of rythm, no so easy....
Sometimes I like listenning this kind of sound
