Rules are you can use any samples here plus at least one of your own recordings from any ambient sound outside or inside. ANY sounds count, such as clapping your hands, rain, crunching leaves, foot steps, hitting a bucket with a stick, coughing, the sound of your dog barking, a door bell, tearing a piece of paper, people talking in a cafe etc.

i had a music idea on guitar in my voice notes so built a beat around that

sample 2 for the drums

samples 1 & 5 for the harmony

also recorded voice singing note for the voc synth thing
and some group drumming i heard on the street (yu can hear it better at the end)
and some change lol

the samples for the beat battle and reference to the lofi hip hop sub-genre of hip hop. I like lofi hip hop, abstract hip hop and boom bap and working with found sounds and ambient recordings. It's just this weeks samples to use in our beats.

did a lot of stuff w the sample, some vocal chops parts of me saying "in the middle of the night", the drums contain a lot of drums from the samples as well

Used my mouth and a beer glass and one sample from the provided pack. Added extra drums and pad.
