went full jazz / experimental with this one.



Trying to convey the feeling of everything moving too fast, and then you're getting completely overwhelmed,
You then slow right down again to catch your breath.
The weekly cycle.

Pitch shifter used to create a beeping sound
glitch in the matrix／
Auto-Tune used to twist the sound
parallel universe／
Auto-pan, echo, and vector delay used in the middle chorus

I imagined the Japanese anime Summertime Rendering, which is a science fiction mystery. Although parallel universes do not appear in it, it was quite interesting.Well, I only watched half of it, though.

I flipped the sample and added a little break beat. To match the theme, I sampled a lecture on time shifting and added some time warping fx on the track.

Used elements of both samples, i wanted to create a glitched out time stretch transition to represent time travel, ground hog day quote over that and a shift of tone for second part of the beat....freestyled the take live so its even more disjointed in its timing...

Snuck in a quick one after a short shift at work this morning.
Played around with the chops from my first beat for this week,
Chopped a drum loop up, added a synth, some filtering...
And some vocals from Napoleon Dynamite.

ended up mashing ish up.. for the rule: different Time signatures, first syllable of the tracks is the second of a word when Looping the track

and i have 2 totally different acapellas playing Parallel ..

flipped, key matched boths samples..

looking forward to checking out all the tracks !

Hi All! Hope everyone is doing great here! Its been while!
Used only Da Capo and outside drums. Wasn't picky chose the first drums hits made simple patterns and chopped da capo into that. The time traveling speed is intense and so the project isn't complete. I have no idea of the mix either just one quick capo
used mpc and recorded live with fx to another mpc.
