EDIT: I'll leave it up incase anyone wants to chop from it, or save it for another time but see Joa post below.

I think I'll skip this one out, its a bit too much out of my skills to produce a subgenre I've only just come across - look forward to hearing all the entries though.

there's plenty of fun youtube tutorials on it.. a chance to learn something.. but up to you !

maybe someone who wants to chop your beat up will still involve you further ?

yoo.. i'ma piano.. i mean.. i'ma just post it coz i could fiddle with it forever..

thanks FE Joose for the sweet vocals and drum perc elements to implement and i took your drum stem Hugh and layered it coz i liked it so much :)

i'm pleased.. yet frustrated.. coz i didn't achieve that particular amapiano groove/ rhythm i was looking for

i'll likely decicate stbbs to this genre fro a while..

hope you all learned something too :)

curious for what's to come..

First try at making an Amapiano track. Thanks for the the challenge Joa. Used Joas 115 bpm percussion loop to set the groove. Listened to several reference tracks to get the vibes. Had fun with this one!!! There is a feel to this style of music that's hard to replicate.

Hey All, I mixed Mox's track in with my track to create some kind of amapiano off shoot. This will be our entry for the week. Cheers to all participants this week.

Peace, Hugh

Heya crew,
I wasn't able to get a collab going in time but decided to contribute something anyhow. I spent a few hours trying to get a handle on this genre I'd never heard of.
Amapiano seems to be influenced by deep house, no? I dig it - wish I'd had more time to work on this, but here it is.

Thanks to Joa for the Challenge- it's always fun to explore new styles

yoo.. thanks to everyone participating and embracing the challenge..

i heard it was a busy week for some beat makers and then with the double threat rule set it made for a quite week.. all good though..

really enjoying your sounds !

i'm gonna have to dive deeper into the matter coz i want to learn that signature amapiano groove.. seems like reggaeton x house .. plus some brazilian vibes ?

i wanted to rap but knew it was gonna sound bad next to FE's mix hehe.. next time when there's more time you can maybe mix my vocals :D

oki.. have a good one all..

pz Joa
