yoo.. spent sunday to tuesday making two flips in 5/4 but wasn't feeling the vibe..

started over to make the third also cannibalizing the first two.. foregone on the time sig. challenge.. the samples were challenging enough.. plus, 'f' the two points..

everything is made from the all the samples apart from the drums and bass.. and of course staywise / Saadyah on the electric guitar solo..

oh yeah.. started the lyrics with 'yes yes ya'll' and went looking for some according vocals..

found two which i overlayed with each other.. Sergio Mendes and Krs-One and Schoolly-D

Hi there. Congratulations for winning and also for choosing quiet challenging samples (at least for me)

Almost missed deadline

Raw cuts and light processing done in reason then composed and performed live on MPC one and finally back to reason to record it and made little edit.
I would spend more time on it but I don’t have any at my hand currently so it is what it is. Also this is standard 4/4 :/

dang, late again, I tried to make it but got lost - literally - in the mix.
Somehow I found these samples really magical - thanks Julian!

I took elements from all 3 tracks like the pad, the guitars and the fire crackle.

As I am late anyhow I could also upload the version with an acapella
