This is the first time I make a beat in a year or so because of, well you know, life.

I was really strugglin' with this mix (again), which is always frustrating as hell. I had kind of forgotten how frustrated I get, when I can't get the knock right.

But the whole sample chopping, bass playing, drum pattern making exercice was a lotta fun!

yoyo. new one here. greetings to the community. thanks for the sample. i flipped the first sample and took some parts (mostly drums) from the other sections. slapped some drums, a vst organ and an epiano on it. no outside samples, just a skit and some filter magic. bless:

Made 3 different beats but I just couldn't get the samples to work for me the way I wanted this time. :idea:

Feelin good about this one, finished just in time. Track 2 pitched down two semitones fit perfectly with track 6 pitched up two, so I used lots of chops from both
