this looks like another perfect opportunity for no outside samples and cut up different bpm acas again! ;)

oh, btw.. i'm no longer drinking alcohol but that Tecate is probably my fave beer in the States ( Mexican beer, right? )

yep mexican beer but i'm actually in Colombia, they make a clone here.. not quite the same as the real thing
i try to avoid alcohol but once in awhile you get a giant burrito and things happen

yup, been like that for.. two (?) years now..or one, lol.. not even sure..

but good you brought it up.. coz this week we're gonna switch it up again for the everyone to have the friday evening to work..

the voting window will be reduced to exactly one day.. and there's gonna be 6 hours to post the new week.

it will be a trial so we'll see how it goes..

i used two of the samples on this, one for the horn layer and one for a percussion layer

Quick evening Sunday Cookup.
I used the 1st sample.
Chopped it. Pitched it down -6
used the low end from the sample as the bass.
Added some drums.
Sidechained the bass and sample to the kick.
90Bpm.

Yo, definetly some challenging samples, but i had a some fun with it.

For the main thing i used 2 bits of the first sample. The riser effect + the snare roll are also from sample 1.
The Vocal thing is from sample 4. I added some Drums, Percussion, Bass and the Synth for the 2nd Part.

Mangaded to fix the problem this afternoon after work. 8-)

Cooked this up in about an hour and half.

Used the 3rd sample. Chop chop...
Pitched it down -6
Low end from the chops
Added drums. 85 Bpm.

yoww.. chopped up the samples and thought i'd give myself an added challenge by using a melodic acapella ( below )

in the process more and more of the week's sample dropped off.. there's still three though..

on Sunday sent the wip to a rapper who worked with Wu Tang members and has a lotta stuff on Spotify..

Prime Omega, Supreme Allah.. Comrad Camp.. check him out..

i added a lil' rap of my own too..
