STBB 867 | Italian Giallo | Collab Multiplier Bonus

Hey All, I think collaborations are great for building community and getting out of solo zones. I also feel anxiety when looking for a partner. So if anybody else feels that anxiety you are not alone. Well you are alone but that's ok. Scoring is of no concern to me. I happy to get a shout out much less a vote. Here are some more ideas I had. Let me know if anything piques your interest.

This is 100% normal I think - especially when we've got OG's from Stones Throw and people are newish!

Just another point...

I think that maybe when we get around to more collab weeks, it'd maybe be good (as mentioned before by someone else) to get a list of collaborators and maybe what they are willing or able to do... eg. vox / cuts / drums / melodies / bass etc. Then as a collaborator try and stick to JUST doing those areas (obviously these are collaborations and there will be cross over)

By trying to do the above I think that it'd help with getting collaborators as their roles are defined... when people post beats up that are essentially "done" (eg with all elements present) then it may discourage others from collaborating because they will probably need to delete / remove some of the persons original beat to feel like they have collaborated.

Eg: If XXX sent me a complete track to collab on and it was already 'full' / 'complete' - one the decisions I'd have to make is which part to remove to make space for my input, which in itself is tough as you're taking away from the beat, rather than purely adding to it.

Ive probably not explained that very well  - A good example was last week Kenja sent me a sketch to collab on which was just the main chops, no drums bass etc as a starting point so there was room for collab - and this week I did the same back, by sending a loop without a melody and drums etc,

I hope that makes some sort of sense!

Another fun week collaborating with the community. I really appreciate the fellowship we've had the past two weeks! Amazing to be apart of. Two more this week:
