Yo what's good peeps?

Bit of a wet lazy sunday cookup. :blunted:
Pitched it up +6 added some drums. And E-LP on the vocals. 88PBM.

Peace Mox.

Some great submissions so far!

total n00b here (go easy on me if I mess this up ;) ), been watching for a little bit and thought I'd give this one a go.

A couple of clips from "Richard Pryor ..." and a loop from the Muggs drums, all on the Polyend Tracker.

Used the sample. All the drums come from the Muggs pack that was provided. Plus, I had Tone of the Cosmos add a quick little verse for some extra sauce. Peep game!

Chopped a break from DJ Muggs
Beefed it up with the Muggs kit
Chopped up the sample
Took horns and other sounds as well from the sample
Added a clip of Jon Stewart
Lastly rapped and pitched it 4 semitones - homage to ********* hah

found this rapper on SC.. asked him to drop some rhymes on my beat and he did.. check his stuff out ..it's dope and different! https://soundcloud.com/fathomcl

all from the sample except drums and bass..

one of 4 flips

pz!

' Gist of the song is about having respect for hip hop culture for what it is and not trying to sound like something you're not in an attempt to blend in. So many people trying to speak on things that aren't their life or their experiences, easier to just focus on a connection to the music and what it says to ya.' ~
