Nice work from many. I will admit that I have a hard time leaving comments, because it will often be just my opinion. I also feel stupid just liking everything, even though after 5 minutes I dont remember most beats...
What I will say though is, I dislike clicking Sample chops, unless for some reason you tell me it is on purpose.
Also with samples that have alot of percussions, I feel like you need to make the chops make sense with the percussions in mind, sometimes the percussions in the sample clash with the drums added.
Last point is mixing. We could all profit from more harsh comments on the levels and mixes, along with some tips on improving.
We should be helping eachother more, we are all going to die soon you know.

@cascassette , hey man, yeah didnt have much time, hopefully can participate more.

Take care people

Congratulations to all other cause many tracks are Dop!!!!!! 👍 👍

on the feedback..^^

there has actually been quite a few thorough and lengthy feedback posts in recent weeks..

which was cool.. and yeah objective mixed with subjective..

if i do have feedback i often leave it in the comments..
i only know what i'm doing to a degree so it's usually limited ;)
but those who do know more about techniques or musicality feel free to share, always..

I agree with Rustees last point. Mixing is not my greatest… and want to improve on that. Let me first buy some monitor speakers or anybody can tell me how to get a good mix on headphones…

I use a laptop, midi keyboard and a JBL headset. DAW: Modplug and mixing in Ableton….

Is it an idea to share each other setup (a extra textarea field in your STBBforever profile; is that possible webmasters?) and give advise on how to improve.

This competition (and you folks :D ) helps my progression to make the best possible beat! Now the mixing part ;)

I also agree with @Rustee, especially if there are people like me who don't have a lot of free time to do that (99% of my songs are "mixed" very quickly or not at all for lack of time), more any comments on the mix, the levels would be great, but I'm the first one who doesn't necessarily have the time to make a constructive criticism of each piece after for the rest (creative part),it's very subjective.

This forum helps everyone progress, thank you all! 👍 8-) 🔥
And for me battles allow me/forces me to finish beats or loops at least ! ☮️
The deadlines are very motivating...

Sharing setup is a good idea, and some must have several maybe ;)

PS: Sorry for my bad english :D

@rustee I don't get your point... I think if we want to help each other we should leave _some_ comments here or on the sc... maybe better here. It's maybe one of the few places where you can get honest feedback. And also if it's only your opinion... one can consider that for the next beat.

Shouts to all!

1.LORD69 my fav this time, the two parts are dope ! 👍
2.MR NBTBL (this first part in shaolin style is perfect !)

For real? You're doing this in a tracker? Cool! From time to time i try Renoise. But i find it always hard to make a full Track...

You might win this battle... so mixing on unprofessional gear is a thing you do well...
