I read the deadline thread--my bad for missing it, but rather than post by Wednesday--its post by when now? (for this month)

Hey Joa, It may just be me but since I downloaded the file "finder" on my mac keeps crashing by not responding. It may be the size of the file but it is a real PITA and I can't fix it. I was wondering if anybody else had that problem with their mac too and knew a solution. Thanks, Hugh

really interesting documentary.
Well worth a watch.
I used track 14 pipeline for the sample.
found 3 parts of the song I liked, chopped them out, then chopped them up into smaller chops.
Pitched it down -2. played around with the chops, found some nice bits to use.
filtered the bass from the sample, made sure it was mono.
Layered up the sample track with a filter.
Added outside drums.
Bpm 88.

back at home, but got sick aswell. made a lil something yesterday.
1. used the pipeline rhodes and layered different pitches
2. back to the origins: so i decided it`s finally time to connect the mpc again and knock out some boombapish drums
3. played some guitar chords and the good old delayed horns
4. grabbed the bass and came up with the bassline for the hook
4. garnished the hook with the singsingsing and some "oldschol" vocals
