2. outside samples/bass, vsts, acapellas, cuts or anything else | not allowed

For the "no outside VST's" rule does this include other FX besides flanger? Ie reverbs or EQs?

yeah, was confusing the other week with LinkRusts nou outside vst instruments rule too..
but I guess it means: no sound manufacturing vsts (?)
I use Reason and there are no vst's in there.
and I usually mix in Cubase there are so many vsts for different purposes.
can't imagine making a beat without EQ.. or reverb for that matter.. the latter could be don of course.
would be a cool challenge by the way: no EQ.. just volume and placement usage.. I suppose using filters could be considered EQ'ing too (?)

Only no virtual instruments, all kind of fx allowed. Especially the special one, the flanger
