Hey mina-san, I hope i got some kinda Dilla vibe on this but I pretty sure I failed miserably. Failure is fine as long as I keep evolving. I hope to move from pollywog to tadpole someday. Dilla was a frog with wings so he didn't even bump his ass when he jumped. Hope all are well.

Don't know about the "What Would Dilla Do"-part of the challenge, but I tried to go with a mellow, but swinging "Labcabincali"/"Slum V"/"Like Water For Chocolate" flavour.

I used chops from all five samples. Couldn't decide on which one to chose, so I just started chopping the whole shabang and throw it in a big pot

I flipped 'clouds' as my main sample and also used a chop of 'pourquoi pas'. I added outside drums and bass.

some classy, sample flipping type beat, but also missed the dilla thing somehow

worked mainly with the James Ellis Sample, as well as some bits of the other 4 tracks

Dilla was one of my greatest musical inspirations. Really enjoyed this one. Worked mostly with the James Ellis sample and the Michel Colombier one.
