Congrats SoDamnFresh!! This is the first beat battle where I've sung!!
the lyrics are part improv & part written. production was tough cuz I had to sing quietly due to sleeping people.
I had fun with this one. It follows themes of my personal philosophy about dadaism, optimism, & recognizing that we all possess a deep intrinsic curiosity which drives us to live, learn, and develop.

I'm not someone who likes weed themed hiphop songs, as i know how cliched and cheesey they are. That being the case, i made one! Puff puff pass.
Chopped up the intro of Incognito for the main bassline. Then used other parts, and parts of Mystique blues. Added filters , reverb and some delay. Used drums from the Barry Beats drum pack. BAAARY.

Peace, Love and Oneness with foreknowledge of the inevitability of Chaos, Entropy and Death. Not as opposing forces seeking balance but as the imagined surface of a hollow nothingness. It should also be noted that 3 really is the magic number. I am fully made aware of how little I know everyday so I am very reluctant to espouse any philosophy. I know I would like to click with someone before I die and I am very thankful for my (getting too old too soon) kids. I don’t believe in blessings but I do believe in giving thanks.
This track was meant to reflect on these reflections.
