[super_sen]

Here´s my entry for this week. The samples were challenging indeed but fun.
I chopped vocals out of billy eilish, put it over a slowed down bassline from the other sample. then i started to work with the acapella.
Currently I´m experimenting with 808s and the 808 melody with the bassline was quite an accident. I tried to work with tension and release by blending the bassline in and out in contrast to the vocal chops.

as it would also kill the "snare allowed on the 3".

Not really imo - because there is a logical 1 and time signature in a beat, you can't just call your 4 your 3 and call it a day



But since its you not me hosting this weeks battle I'll be quiet from now on

Yo what's good people?
Hope everyone is keeping busy or back at work and getting into a some sort of routine.

I had a Productive day in the garden, hedge trimming, clearing, tiding and repotting....
Some pretty cool samples to work with,
loads of cool stuff, I quickly mashed up something this evening after dinner.

Just the samples used and some drums with the snares on the 3...
