Congratulations on the win Per.du. And congratulations on picking an absolutely timely and perfect challenge. No one like Bill Withers, just pure soul.
So much beautiful music to work with here. I pulled all the samples from Bill Withers songs, chopped it up on Maschine and then mixed it old school dub style on my Tascam board with FX on the knobs.

This was a really tough week for me. All of Bill's music is amazing, and all of it has been used in so many different ways it was hard not to hear "other" things every time I tried to pull something. Some of you guys creativity is just off the charts here already....

Tough one this week, real famous samples, interesting to work with.
I rustled up this beat this afternoon..
3 slightly different tempos, 94, 98, and 100 bpm. working through the track, Some loop work/chops and some lazy drums.
Some EQ's Echo, Delay, Filters and Reverb.
Main output has Final Mix EQ (Hip Hop Setting ) and the same with the Multi pressor, and lastly a Limiter. :roll:

this week was harder than I thought it would be when I posted the samples and rules...
Did have to go quite far (fast) to implement 3 samples and keep the samples noticeable, but not too obvious at the same time.
Its all built around the sped up drum break from kissing my love (james gadson is a beast!). vocalshots and some synth layers are from/made with bits and pieces from just the two of us, kissing my love and lovely day.
