Really liked the challenge & the hard sample choice (considering the rules)!
Only external drums, percussion and vocalshots. Since I have little knowledge of 70s SciFi-Series, I expanded that period and took a piece from Star Trek TNG about Data trying to sneeze correctly fits the times well I believe
Stay Home:
Bass is the guitar from sample 2 (0:04)
...layered with secondary bass from sample 1 (around 1:04)
Lead chord (intro & part 1) are from the 2nd Sample, somewhere in the beginning. Complimenting chords are from sample 1 (0:46)
Brainstorm:
Part two its - as the title says - more a brainstorm than a finished track, but since I kept breaking my neck working on that part, I din’t want it to withhold it and let rot for eternity on my computer.
Bass is the same as in part 1
Lead Synth is out of 2 elements, one very straightforward use of the 2nd Sample alongside a wildly chopped and timestretched intended „accident“ that turned out to be a great weird lead line.
