Hey All, Congrats Joa and cool rules. The 3 snares are slightly different with a delay on one. I used each snare separately in the 3 different parts.There is also a part where each snare is solo.

I made this on my laptop partly on an airplane, partly in my hotel room in San Francisco. Apologies for any wackness in the mix (like blowing out your speakers with way too much lo-end (or like being wack for the lack of lo-end)).



Solo snare at 0:28, 0:34 and 0:47.

Hey guys, long time listener, first time caller. Here's my entry for this week.

I used nothing but the snares for the entire song, except a small vocal clip from the required YouTubes. There are three different versions of three stacked snares all playing at least once by themselves in the song.

I'm also linking screen shots so anyone can see what you can do with a little bit of "how do I make this my own" sauce on your samples. Hopefully it inspires and motivates to think outside of the box when it comes to beat making.

P.S. The Doors named their band after the book "The Doors of Perception" by Aldous Huxley, a scientist who took acid and recounted his experience in the book. Worth a read even if you're not in to plant medicines.

Had to wrap this up quickly before work. Always have some trouble with "big songs" cause I am kinda stuck with the original and then try to fuck it up so much, it becomes unhearable
The snare rule was really fun. Soloed the snares I think 4 times at various places. One is with heavy delay effects. Added two more samples which I rarely do to give it a little extra.
