Ayyy these samples are fire. Had to chop up the mother joint though. Some of the chops played are in reverse, mostly in the 2nd section. Looking forward to listening to all the entries, the few I played so far are real dope.

Great samples, much appreciated. Used mostly the mother's theme (pretty much 50% of the chops reversed) and bits of the other samples. Live bass, synths, scratches, and some other stuff.

Well deserved KL, congrats. Dope samples. Definitely felt the 3rd one the most, but have some of the 2nd one in there as well. Reverse chops in all 3 parts.

Yo hope everyone is doing well Congrats on the win Keith's Lard, It's been a long time since I had time to knock some something for a weekly battle so I'm kind off knocking the rust off on getting something done quickly. All chopped and reversed on the MPC 2500 this time using just the Willie Hutch - Mother's Theme, some drums and 4 band eq to bring out the bass from the sample then added a little soft overdrive and reverb in reaper while given it a quick little mix

Absolutely amazing samples!

came up wit 7 (!!!!) sketches this weeks, tried to make the 3 work together as far as I could with the limited amount of time I had..

last part is special since no grin and some very weird timing, while the second part is completely straight and the first somewhere in between

hope you like, glad I found time and inspiration to participate again!
