After a few weeks of not competing due to being busy elsewhere it's good to be back in the game.

I wasn't sure about the Goran Bregovic one before I flipped it but I really like how it worked out for me as soon as I starting chopping and screwing. I used lots of granular processing on 3 layers of the chops to build up this dark dystopian sounding beat.

Percussions are short field recordings (edited in the SP-404SX). Trash bin, hitting dry leaves with a stick, kicking gravel and just walking. Just one bar loops.

That track was fun to sample from


but sound seems to be disgusting... on my cheap inears sound seems to be alright but yesterday i noticed that the bass is over the edge and i thought my speakers give up...

Mixed it again



Now it's quite nice on my speakers but in my headphones the trebble is a bit harsh...
Not my week

I would appreciate some feedback on the mix...
