As I planned, I would have BMC win in order to indulge my lust for dramatic tag lines and musical base challenges haha I have really won go job BMC as I planned haha dope rules we should have an interesting week haha.

Congratz on the win, well deserved!
As others have said I also had a hard time with this sample, so I took a different approach than I usually do. When chopping I found like a bass hit that sounded like a brass and a small chop where the singer says "clap" and there is an actual clap at the same time. This gave me an idea to make this kind of hard hitting brass trap beat that was so popular in the edm-sphere in like 2014.
So I layerd the bass hit with itself but an octave higher and some other brass sounds, added the clap chop, some drums and bass. The vocal is me recorded on my shitty usb headset.

Congrats bmc! great sample, too bad I didn't have the time to do more than some chopping... maybe I'll put the beat up a few days/weeks later

Was a tough sample but it was fun trying to flip it into something worth while submitting, all done on the MPC 2500

Joa and me joined forces again for this one. Had a good start, then almost gave up in the middle of the process, but finally got our act together and produced some heat.

he's very humble.. deliverd an awesome bassline, lead synth, lotta little cuts and even replayed an outside piano sample I had used!
