That was fun! 
These kind of samples are what I used to flip all the time when I was just B-Jam, so this vibe took me back. 
I used bass and guitar chops from the Coke Escovedo, strings from the Ferrante and Teicher, and vocals from the Latimore. They all stacked up really nicely in the mix without too much work needed and I had it all jamming in minutes which was cool!
I'm really happy with how my bassline came out as well. Works really well in conjunction with the bass chops IMO.

hi, i used all 3 Samples at the first part . the bass from "COKE ESCOVEDO - NO ONE TO DEPEND ON - Gm" (editing / using as an Instument sampler) ... the Needed Vocal .. pitched and stuff. and the "FERRANTE AND TEICHER - SUNNY - G#m" some of the end parts.. half time it.. screw it slow.. and stuff crazy shit.
after that i had fun wtih all the samples.. in some different parts.. .
was a nice challenge. (sry for bad english / no nativ speaker)

After last weeks experience i decided to stay on the sp. This one is recorded in 4 overdubbed takes. Samples, drums, bass, fx.
Not using loops was a bit hard but felt real good... Should do this more often
Bass and fx are from that tiny monotron...
Used only the snare from coke escovedo... hope that counts
