1=DEAD口 Although mixed a little quiet, the creative use of the samples and the overall musical feel is far more rewarding, I feel 🏅

Props to Lil' P for the collab and for injecting his Brazilian influence into the tracks

1. Super Sen - Future funk!

2. Yung Uncy - that bounce
3. DEAD口 - like a memory from a previous life

Man, I really liked a bunch this week. Really inspiring to hear so much talent here.

Obviously some hard decisions here.. all you guys did a great job with the material! I am happy there were no samples that got overdone imo, great variety picked up I think 👍

Seriously made my week hearing all your entries, thanks to all those for putting something together!!!

My picks:

1. Super Sen - Kept coming back to this one, really really love the additional work you put in with synth, took it to a whole new futuristic level haha - New genre, 'bossa future' maybe

2. DEAD口 - This was VERY close to first for me, I think only a little bit of the volume/mix could have been adjusted, but man this is so chill and keeps the original vibe but updates it for today. The breakdown at the end of the track is great too! Nice job here man.

3. KSG - This is a head nodder lol -- Love the bounce, fun flip here dude! I think you really nailed the vocals too, how you incorporated.

Some additional thoughts:

OKJoy, dude it was so hard to pick between yours and KSG - in my mind you are tied. The vocals on KSGs is what pushed him just a speck over the edge, but yours is excellent too. Very smooth blending and the subtle sounds you work in, it is perfect.

Butta Slick, your non-entry got played almost as much as my top 3 haha - Really enjoyed this one a lot

Some additional noteworthy in no order: Butta Slick (Your main entry also dope!!), ruedenz, Yung Uncy, DJ Agent M, bigfamily, per.du (The variety of speed is neat here), gettoromantik (you got this battle off to a great start! This was on repeat a lot haha)

Also, I thought it was cool how some folks made almost like mini-mixtapes with these - shoutouts to Lil P/Granny D, Conner Helm, Stoffa da Chef

Anyone else not mentioned, I could just spend the whole night writing but I'm sleepy haha - Love all the music and I'm certainly making this my STBB Brazil mix to listen to in the future :)

ps: We got two other battles with votes ending on Friday!! Be sure to drop by and listen to some more music and vote!!!

shoutout to 108 villains, giving dope feeds on all the tracks. most of the times you hit the nail on the head.

The samples were absolutely massive this week!

For the next weeks winner may I suggest to pick only a narrow selection of samples (best case: just 1 tune)? I personally find it very exciting to see what the other ppl are doing with the same samples..

Hi folks, I am on my mobile so won’t be able to work with the full editor and crazy colors, sorry!

Lots of great flips due to the amazing samples we have been given. Definitely one of the hardest weeks to rate!

3. Ruedenz (just caught me like this)
2. Granny david- Not mad (the last flip in that song is so sick!)
1. B-Jam vs Enos (subtle, smooth, sounds like it comes straight from Brazil!)
