Think i'm going to pass this week... I can't sing or rap with those medicines i'm having. It changes my voice control.

I don't think most of us here can sing or rap :D

Just having some spoken vocals, vocal sound effects or some basic beatboxing will totally qualify. 👍

Alright might give it a try. I really would've loved to hum to the beat and put that in the beat but with those meds i Always sing out of key somehow.

Congrats on the win!! The rules this week are interesting, have a feeling this might push some people out of their comfort zone to try something new! Excited to hear people's takes on the rules this week haha

Congrats on the win! :)

Great rules and samples.

We had this rule a couple of weeks ago for #621. I ended up creating a kick drum by placing a mic up against my throat and making a deep thud sound. Would that be the kind of thing you're looking for?

The difference this week is that it's about using you voice rather than just being a self made sound. :mic: I'm hoping to hear some self recorded vocals etc. :D Should be fun

Using your voicebox recorded through your neck rather than from your mouth sounds like a fair application of the rules though. 👍

Long time no see, guys!

Here's my joint - It's a love song, uhhlala

The warped vocals on my track is heavily inspired by a technique used by Gotye on "State of The Art". Gotye's actually a genuine, bad-ass samplist. Check out this wonderful documentary to get a glimpse of his workflow:
