yeah sorry I just wanted to get it up before the deadline Im just editing the post now.

You actually had until 8pm tonight as the deadline is 12pm Pacific time, not GMT. :) Thanks for getting it up sooner rather than later though, as that means us Euro based guys can get to work this afternoon rather than later tonight or tomorrow which I know is always welcome.

Great samples btw and really liking that special rule of having to record a part provided by ourselves. I better dig my mic out! :mic:  This will be fun...

I know it makes it easier for people using samplers than can't play MP3's for example.
just to get it right, the source material is Mp3 and you transcoded it to wav?

cool challenge + congratz on the first win chopp!

Congrats chop!

Piano from L'Enfant De La Forêt, beatbox sound from 05 Not for Sale
added for a bassline, live shaker and some keys

Congrats Chop! Been a while since I’ve been on the STBB boards. Glad to see its still alive. Here's my submission.

Synth sound from the Boozing track
Pianos from L'Enfant De La Forˆt - You Will Never Be Good Enough
Vocals from Nina Ryser
Drums from Paul Nice Track 3
Clap from me at the 1:09 mark

Hell ya chop! Congrats on there win. Dope samples and nice rules. Challenging but leaves a lot of room to be creative and do what you want. I'm already chopping it up.

Wow what a weekend! Not one but two STBB tracks made in 24 hours. 8-)

I can't believe how good chip samples sound with the right processing and context. I've never tried flipping chip tracks before but I certainly will again.

Layering up You Will Never Be Good Enough with Endzak_1_T01 made for an epic cosmic track. :acid:

I also used the very start of Not for Sale, as a percussion layer, and for 'my' part, I done something similar and recorded a percussive rhythm made with my mouth and used that as my wide percussion. Worked really well, i'll need to do it more often.

So, that's two new things i've done with this entry thanks to CHOPFYT's samples and rules, and i've loved them. Thanks!
