Had fun working with Detritus Tabu. He was a fantastic team-mate. Very efficient, agreeable and easy to get along with.
We decided on Tupac and Miles Davis, with some added Mandela.

We decided to use the D. Axelrod , B. Lee and, of course, the N. Mandela samples.
Turned out that sample did not need anything but some good chopping and EQ. (that kick and bass ) no synths/instruments in this, samples & drums only[/b].

Here mine and Graftaq collaboration entry for this weeks battle
We flipped David Axelrod and added some sprinkles of the Nelson Mandala and Tupac Shakur vocals samples for our track. Thanks for the collabo Graftaq it was a fun super chilled experience and a mega shout out to you for pulling an all night session to get it mastered for us!

My third collab with theguen. This dude is amazing: I hit him up pretty much 24 hours ago, with a simple 8 bars loop with shitty sound quality, and asked him if he wants to join forces on short notice. And he completely turned it around. Arrangement, mix, added bunch of stuff, mastering...great pleasure to work with you bro.
