the battle was uploaded the 27 of July.. which was 4 weeks ago this saturday.

Yeah you're absolutly right... it's my my fault, i should have rtfm

Generally speaking i think we should return to a more easy to memorize schedule
like deadline is last wednesday of the month. Or deadline is wednesday before the last saturday of the month or something like that...
If we go by four weeks the september deadline is 18.9 and then 16.10, 13.11,11.12. and 8.1.2020 ... something like that... i will need a diary for that

too true!..
I think we've had longer and shorter months due to wednesday votes and sunday topic posts being on particular dates.
both don't necessarily have to be in the same month.. like, next wednesday is aug...yet next sunday is sept.
taking last wednesdasy as a marker to post would be good I agree.

everybody think we should implement it like that?

Hey everyone, sorry there's no playlist yet.. I was not feeling very well last night so Joa was able to step in and create threads for this week's votes.

I don't have the SC access from work, so I'm updating the thread to include the individual songs. This should be corrected by later tonight my time.

I think what would be good in the future is to have the voting end on final Friday of the month - this would avoid scenario of a month that ends of Wednesday.

After the first shock i called Kris... we decided to quit work early and record again.

had a thougt..how about a last saturday and sunday of the month vote for the monthly..
coinciding with the weekly votes makes for a lotta listening lol.
we could have the posting deadline on a friday evening.
just an idea

I think last Wednesday of the month deadline would be best. Leaving it to the last Friday for a Saturday vote leaves too small a window IMO.

Personally i'd prefer the voting to coincide with the weekly, that way I only have to make sure i'm here to count the votes on a Saturday morning (UK time), but I know others have counted the monthly votes in the past so as long as someone is around to do it then all good.

I can see the potential merit in having it a different day from the weekly vote so there aren't as many tracks to listen to, but on the flip, having it a day or two later after means people potentially having to come and listen/vote twice in one weekend which may be worse.

Yep, so the deadline would remain the Wednesday before the final Friday of the month. I can see Joa's point about maybe making them different days from weekly, but then people who are already voting for weekly may forget to come back to the Monthly. My vote would be keeping the days aligned like you were saying earlier.
