I dig the beat man.

the start of the track is a lil' messy with a tick due to it starting partially into a sound or so.

Sounds like there are some peaks in the mids of the beat that are competing with the vocals for space. I'd try to bring them down a little. Nice beat though, got a smooth mellow vibe to it.
