Documentaries, interviews, short films

If anyone hasn't seen it, I'd recommend you to find and watch "The Defiant Ones" about Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine. Long, but a great watch that doesn't sugarcoat much:

Just finished watching these.

Great great show. Watched the last two with my girl trying to wean her off housewives of Atlanta and into some real shit.

Such a challenge.

Def gonna watch this one soon.

I don't care for Joe Rogan that much, but I am interested in guests that show up on there from time to time - Killer Mike was on today. Haven't heard the whole thing yet, but I'm sure Mike had some interesting stuff to say

Finally got around to checking out the series over the weekend, really great! Especially love the first episode, it is very interesting thinking about the economical side of everything he was getting at.

Also listened to the whole JRE podcast with him, I think a first time ever going through a complete one. Killer Mike's a super interesting dude, hope they'll give him another season of Trigger Warning at some point.

When I first watched this film I was 16/17 it put me in a spin, its one of the few if not the only documentary thats brought a tear to my eye. Its about people who live in an old Amtrak tunnel near Pennsylvania Station in New York and their stories/lives. It wasnt until a few years later when I found the DVD that I realised DJ Shadow did the music which makes it that little bit more dope. Everyone should check this Doc. out it is heart breaking, funny, shocking and uplifting all at the same time.

The film maker Marc Singer only ever made this one film here's an interesting interview with him from 2011
