I got a writing gig so I've been a lil busy (plus anxiety with the world n stuff isn't helping), but here's a couple drawings I completed in October.

Character Design based on my GTA5 online character

Album cover for something my friend and I have been working on since about June, hoping to release it before the end of the year

I did a D&D one-shot with some friends, so I drew portraits for our characters based on their descriptions.
The session was basically an Ocean's Eleven hest

A buddy of mine has a little online t-shirt business, and I've been doing some
sweater designs for them. Mostly vaporwave and hiphop themed to fill a niche.
here are a few of my designs.

Some of these also have hoodies, merch and t-shirt variations, but I'm digging the all over print sweater
design as a thing, hoping to get into some backpacks and stuff in the future!

Hey guys, I haven't posted in here in a bit but just some more things I've been doing, art-wise.
This year I met up (digitally) with an old college-acquaintance of mine, and we've gotten to know each other fairly well this past year. They're a professional in the animation biz, and talking with them re-kindled my love for doing animation.
So, here's a couple of the animations I made last year to try to start learning to do it again.

(this one is unfinished, don't know when I will finish)

I've been getting a fair amount of commission work, some of it for animations. A friend of mine paid me to make a short looping music video for one of his songs.

I've done some other drawings too but I'll post those some other time

Nice work! How long did it take for let's say, the first animation video? Can imagine it's pretty time consuming?

Here's some of my recent artwork. It's digital, since i'm not that active anymore (only paint on sunny days :D)...

Haha well, I've been doing animation for a while, so I know what kind of things save time in an animation and how to tell the most story possible with the least amount of effort.
So, for that video (just to peel back the curtain a bit), most of the opening is all animated with things called "tweens", which basically is when the computer smooth animates an image moving some direction.
So, tweens zooming in on the grave and tweens of him popping out of the grave (a tween on the dirt, a tween on the arm/body/hoody strings).
Then, when it switches to the black-and-white negative-film sort of look, those are all very simple drawings so animating them was a lot less time-consuming (but, when the arm hits the "dope" button? The arm is a graphic with an animation nested in it to make the lines wiggle, the technical term being a "line boil", that I tweened).
The most time-consuming thing to make for that video was the background when the character spraypaints the screen.
Overall that video took 2 weeks of me working constantly to make. It would have taken much longer if I were to attempt to sync it to the actual music or make it full length, etc.

I should also say, I did not storyboard that video. The rapper, PMiller, actually has a degree in animation. I met him in college at University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
So, he composed a storyboard that he knew would fit his budget. The storyboard was solid, and I just interpreted it into an animation the way that I figured would best fit the budget that he was able to provide (I put a bit more work into it than his budget allowed because he's a friend and I help friends out)

Also also also, I really dig your graffiti that you posted! I'm terrible with typography and words or doing anything creative with them, so that sort of skill that you're showing is something I think is very impressive and that I just don't naturally think about in the way you do.

third video isn't showing for some reason.. is it set on private?..
can you show me via pm?

mad talent and developed skills on the forum here..

if anyone feels like doing some stbb related stuf we could have a looksee how we can incorporate it..

I'm also talking with a guy who just started a lo-fi(ish) hip hop channel on youtube and I suggested maybe having a jingle (and logo/pic ) whenever an stbb entry comes on..
will keep you apprised..

WHOOPS! It was indeed "Private" when I meant to mark it as "Unlisted". It's fixed now and you should be able to see it, but let me know if you run into any more issues. Thanks for bringing this up to me!

You know I got love for the STBB. I'm busy with some work at the moment but if you ever wanna pull the trigger on any of those projects and think my skills could help, let me know!
