So as the title hints... This one's going to be a bit about Steel Pan Drums. I was going to rip this record from vinyl myself for some better fidelity but I found out a bit late notice about taking over so I found it online instead and hope its ok!

Why steel pan drums? The thought hit my head at the library today that I almost never hear it sampled, so here we are

crazy big sample this week. dug out something from the second song.
pitched it down -2 added some drums. Pulled the Bass out of the chops. 96BPM.
Added some vocal snippets as recommended by JoaGymshoe.
First time for me sampling Steal Drums I'm pretty sure!

well, to be fully informed.. i recommended a buncha ideas that can be used for transitions.. a vocal one shot being one of them

that affected wizzard(?)like voice is cool man.. goes well with the steel pan 'magic' vibe..

i usually don't do this but.. i thought it'd be fun to post this WIP.. downloadable maybe someone wants to write a rap to it or provide additional elements ?
