Great sample material, big fan of Tom Scott 
Here's a non-entry. I sampled Shadows to make this beat around 2007/08, then added the acapella to turn it into a remix a couple of years ago.
There's plenty more to sample from Shadows so I'll definitely get in on this battle with a new track

Some cool rules, dope sample and vocals this month.
I chopped the sample into loops and smaller chops, matched the tempo to 94bmp
:?: , I then pitched the main sample down 6 in the sampler ( EXS24).
Added some drums and a simple bass line and the vocals.

I wanted to add the bpm but the forgot..
when I came back there were already 1 or 2 very early ( for the monthly anyway )beats posted so I didn't want to give others an unfair advantage.
a tip on how to get the timing right is.. write down then lyrics and rap them yourself.. you'll likely hear it.
another one is.. in most cases the last word of the sentence lands on the snare.. so when it hits that consistently it's syncing.
lastly you could listen to the aca and tap a beat on your daw or online bpm counter.

Managed to work on this every now and then. 4-5 stems made with my e-piano which I ran through a bass fx pedal. Replayed the bass from the sample. Hope u like it.
Apologies if the acapella hasn't been placed correctly. It'll be interesting to hear the original after
