I thought the flip of round 1 had to be remixed by the other contestant + use the new sample ?

Hey y'all, to clarify the matter:
We could just get working from monday on, cause NBTBL was on vacation. We do come from the same city, and were thinking about doing a live battle or whatever. That didn't work out cause of the short period of time. However, we talked....and both had big issues incorporating the new sample to either one of our tracks (so me working it in nbtbls track, he working it in my track, as per rules). I actually was about to give up yesterday, cause I had literally nothing. NBTBL, being a real sportsman, sent me his stuff, which was heavily using the new sample, no quantized drums, and my previous M005 track. So he did his part just as the rules were telling. I however had the chance to use the second part of the song (which was created from the new sample), and then put some of his previous M005 track in there (mostly those fake scratchy acapella stuff, and some stuff in the background, and some breaks from the main loop). Also I added my own drums (and given how shitty they sound, clearly no quantization, actually first take cause I had no freakin time left).
(waaay toooo) Looooooong story short, NBTBL did everything what was asked for, however I cheated a bit and worked with his take on the new sample. However, technically we both did what was required. If anybody feels that this stinks, I'll withdraw, I got no problem with that (for real).

No need to withdraw, I think the idea you guys came up with is dope and we still have the ability to vote for which section we like more

This was tough, I'm always a fan of the nbtbl + Krxs combo which is still dope af here but I gotta give it to Ruedenz for those drums, came hard with it at the end of the track.
Love that the final battle got turned into a single badass track, this was def in my SC rotation for a bit the past few days

It's a close one, but i'm going to side with nbtbl + Krxs on this occasion.
Hard decision tbh but will have to say Mr Nbtbl x Krxs just about edged it. Its a great track as a whole so well done to all

But for real that remix actually means remix like take the full song and change the drums add some samples never came to my mind until joa mentioned it here...
