I hope the executive decision to extend voting by a day doesn't cause any trouble -- since there was a one-day delay on thread and since February is a short month, I think it will help.

ALSO -- I was going to include some of the early stage beats on the playlist as non-entries, but it seems a lot are private or deleted sadly. If anyone does want to post some as late entries, I'm happy to put them on the playlist as non-entry. Hopefully we can get some more music going in the next battle!

My votes:

1. B-Jam vs Enos - Smooth one, really like this beat

2. nbtbl - Dope inclusion of the battle theme with the vocal sample! Great beat too :)

3. Granny David - The keys and drum on this I like, the fuzz at the end is neat too.

Dope work and a really fun battle (Thanks GD and Joa 8-) 👍

My top 3 were:

3rd: Granny David
2nd: nbtbl
1st: JoaGymshoe

Look forward to the next battle!

Ooh i saw my name on every single vote :)
Thanks to all of you!!!
With a strategic vote i could raise my chances to win this battle, which would be a big deal for me ;)
But i am going to vote by heart...

1) Joa
I love how you flipped the voices and there are a lot of these little Details... Great!

2) Granny
Nicely done with the bass only part to calm down and that crazy guitar final.

3) Psychadelic Schizophrenic
Damn smooth and nicely flipped. I wished for one drastic change.

I think all of us used the Archie Whitewater Lament for the Walking Dead sample and we all flipped it differently! Bravo! 🥁

1 NBTBL Best use of the sample imo. Smashing beat!
2 B-Jam vs Enos Slick work as always. Always good variation on every single bar, no two bars the same
3 Psychedelic Schizophrenic Good chops and catchy vibe
4 JoaGymshoe I feel sad not even awarding any points for this, everyone brought good beats. 10/10 for the mix/mastering though :)

WaxRamble I hope to hear your track progress into something solid, it certainly has potential. Keep it up! :)

I noticed a few people mentioned the use of an electric guitar on my track. I couldn't remember using one so I had to go and check what the sample was. Turns out, it was a keyboard not a guitar. I'd forgotten what I did to it, so I went back and threw an example of the sample I used and applied the effects on and off in parts to show the original sound of the sample. Basically, I just used distortion and a phaser, then reversed it. Strange!

Here it is for anyone who is interested

First Samples i flipped were something like STBB-521. Now the first win.
Even if it's not one of the big weekly battles. Some of the best battled here... i am proud.

Thanks to Joa and Granny for the samples!
