A huge thank you for your votes, I’m really touched!🤩 Hard work pays off.
I especially want to introduce some special rules for this week:

Only techno beats between 120 and 140 BPM. 🤯
Incorporate a sample from a movie soundtrack of your choice (melodies, voices, whatever you like).
I'm not giving a specific sample, but you must absolutely use a snippet from a movie of your choice in your composition!

Be original and step out of your comfort zone! ✌

The Fine Print:
Upload your beat to Soundcloud, include "STBB 916“ in the title, and POST TO THIS FORUM by Thursday 06:00 in the morning, Pacific time/15:00 CET
Try to leave as much feedback as you can and you will receive it back.
For easy browsing's sake, you can also go to the STBB page: https://soundcloud.com/stbbcollection
Label entries that are posted after the deadline as 'late entry' and entries that don't comply with the rules as: 'non-entry' in your track title.
EVERYONE VOTES - by Friday noon Pacific / 21:00 CET
Winner: post new sample, rules, etc by Friday midnight Pacific/ Sat. 09:00 CET and upload the sample here: https://wetransfer.com/ CHOOSE 7 DAYS !

Congrats on the win LADz!

Would it fly to use something from a score from an RPG video game? Or we strictly film samples?

Thank you, you can use whatever you want for the sample (movie, cartoon, video game)

Congr-aDZ L-aDZ!
Just a quick flip remix for fun mix might be off but you be the judge dread :}
Sample from Hatari movie 1962 where music was done by Henry Mancini one of my very favorit OST composer_ hope he wont turn in grave after hearing this :D
Skit of the movie is bellow as well if interested...

Have a Fun!

Damn, I was so excited about the movie sample rule that I forgot it was supposed to be a techno beat. Oh well, this is what I came up with.

The movie is Death Force, a blaxploitation film from the 70s. I've already sampled this movie multiple times on a few of my previous beat tapes. Frames from it are found on pfps, backgrounds, and even album covers of mine. Easy to say this is the film I've used the most in my music.

congrats on the win! To do something a little different than usual i recorded a live jam with a 909 plugin and the sample i used was from La Planete Sauvage, 140bpm

Yo! Thanks again for the votes, it really means a lot! This week, I decided to sample lines from the classic movie The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Enjoy the listen and have a great week!

Ok, so I played by ear and found out after I did that I've played everything 1 semitone down, because apparently I'm retarded.
I tried to transpose everything 1 semitone, but that just sounds weird to me now... oh well, it is what it is. If you know the theme you're (also) old.

actually the first of any dance production ive ever experimented with. Kicked into drive and let her go. Hope all is well over here!

Congrats and thanks for this challenge...Wish I had more time - Quick evening session. Sample is from Saturday Night and Vice City Soundtrack.
Filtered a bit ( that's what I think is the French house touch from the 90´s). Bass from the Sample, extra Drums and some Vocal Chops. Voila:

Congrats LadzSick!

I've recently subscribed to the Plugin Alliance, and I've got a lot of different sound sources and plug-ins, so I'm trying out a lot of different things right away.
The quote from the movie was taken from a porn video!
But I tried not to make it too pornographic, because some people don't like porn!
I think the mood is like a girl being chased by someone on a rainy road.
