Made a lil keygroup program for Octobass requirement, it's just the little roll you hear at end of measure transitions...sample came from Guru Moe "Short Piece for Octobass" on YouTube.

Main music chops from Zalla
Octobass trill from Guro Moe
Added drums, bass, and synth
Reggie for pure heat lol

Octobass undertone throughout the track using a YouTube clip called "Khosn kale mazl tov Traditional". More prominent at the start of the track. Flipped the sample, reversing it in variation throughout. Added some extra sauce.

Twisted the sample and the octobass sample around
a few differnt ways, also used a bit the vox/speech from the end "Jaws!"
Bit of FM synths too, yum yum!

And because we are in a no time rule week, (yes! forever No limits! Haha!)
I got into it for about thirteen minutes.

haha, yeah, i also don't care much for time limits .. people usually don't make crazy long beats anyway...
and like you said.. if they aren't entertaining enough skip through'em..

Chilled afternoon cookup
Pitched the main sample up +3
Remembered to use the octo bass this time.
Took one note and stretched it over the pads/keys. Played a little thing with the octo bass I made.
and also a synth/arp clav thing. layered it with the same notes but 2 octaves down
Added drums 88Bpm.

Hesh made the dope beat and turned the octo into that rumbling bassline.. i just L.A.'d down some seaweed garnish over it.. and added the outro.. still in bandlab..

wanted to work on the vocals some more but schedules didn't allow..

looking forward to checking out all your beats!

Hello ALL, Hope you are well! Yo Joa That is some massive OCTOBASSE
I used some folks from UTUBE that played JAWS on octobasse. Im sure you have came through them. I used it only in intro just before them had a little giggle :lol: Lickle chuckle
The sample appeared to me as two mono used as stereo so I separated the sample in two songs and used a little from left and little from right side

Meanwhile I had some seagulls flying up here and they sounded so nice so i sampled some seagulls from Utube...
Probably not the best mix but I did my best on my knees

Im eager to hear what ya all came up with....will be some fires forsho !
Will leave my mark tomorrow night
