yoowww.. i know this a beat battle but this win means a lot to me..

the raps prob made the difference but it's my instrument!.. glad you appreciate <3

aight so.. the pic. i used for my 832 track is my studio.. dutch flag upside down is the french flag..

it reminded me of my first beat on the new forum which had a pic of studio then..



i uploaded the sample of that week.. Heatwave - Ain't no haf steppin,

my aca, 85 bpm without end compression and limiting etc. ..and my chops/cuts

actually also my stems from reason which i exported to cubase.. and continued on there..

feel free to use anything you want in any way.. except maybe reproduce my track :p

use any outside samples, drums, instruments you like..

mind you, i will contact you and offer to sync the aca in case you don't manage to.. :D

use it in any way you like, full, to make a hook or cuts., whatev.. or not use at all.. all good..

like many of my raps it's dear to my heart and that's why i want to share it with you, homies..

NO worries Joa! The sample was dope. Tossed this together real quick started off with some simple drums and a quick sample chop for the foundation. I had fun pitching you voice lol I hope you dont mind I kind of held back a bit hehe. We could just do all the sample together since your chops already included some of the other tracks either way dope raps brother!

track sounds dope!.. but uhm, could be doper ! ..hehe.. did you read the brief.. wanna send me the instru and aca without your end compression so i can send it back ?

or wanna have another go? .. the aca is not in sync.. think it just be the starting point.. track and aca 85 bpm still?

My original beat was made at 92 bpm so I tried to sync your acc a middle ground bpm 87.5 but it didnt work. New track is 85 bpm should work let me know what you think? Ill be hanging my hat on this one for the night though if it needs a little fine tunin. sleep time :mrgreen:

aight.. let's talk tomo'.. hehe, acas are like an exact science.. 'ain't no half steppin' ' on those ;) .. gotta be spot on ..and preferably in the pocket..

that's listening and adjusting tens of milliseconds if need be..

Okay, so i wanna share this little backstory of the lyrics with you..

about six years ago..( SC says..thought it mighta been eight otherwise ) i was having this headache that was already lasting about two weeks..

i went to my GP/ house doctor.. and he said, i'll give you these three tablets.. take 'em all at once..

not sure if there were instructions regarding combining them with alcohol.. but i knew i wasn't really supposed to..

i did anyway.. had one beer with'em

so the tablets turned out to be antidepressants and the combination with alcohol made me feel pretty weird..

i went on SC and just started listening to tracks.. and found this track by Bertholet and wrote the lyrics..

which are also kinda weird in parts..

oh.. when i woke up the next morning the headache was gone :)

someone asked what dutch parts in the rap mean.. might as well put it here too..

loosely translated..

Went with the Heatwave anyway lol. Had already started and didn't participate in 610 anyhow. Happy Sunday!

I could only get one of the samples to work on my Beat Making Machine :ugeek: ( Mac G4. ) :)
Sample 6. the rest where all 32 Bit rate... :? :lol:
74 Bpm. Chopped up 16 little bits. pitched the samples down -2.
Just added drums.
