At the 3 samples rule I was like ow shh...then found those tasty drums! I choosed the main sample and layered some more external drums. Found a little stab from the first song and then used it also for the free jazz kind of breakdown. Sprinkled some Dj fxs and taunts in the good spirit of battle

used the middle sample with the piano, some bass and other drums hits from a couple of the others. chopped up an acapella from color me badd. fun week, great samples! mix is a little low but sounds pretty good if you crank it

I don't sure about the result, maybe too compress.

yoww.. i'm always happy when i read, outside samples allowed..
i'm not a musician.. in the sense that i play an instrument well.. i can find the right key for a bassline and a lead. but that's about it..
so i like to dig for little samples that compliment my beat..
and Levi came through with some dope scratches to play with <3

found the Brand Nubian fellas rap'singing the hook in some lil' doc. on YT..
wrote 8 bars.. coz of, no full aca alllowed..

what else can i say..
ah yeah.. didn't go, no outside anything.. just got too engrossed in making it sound as good as!

had fun!
