I bumped into Nirvana's Mtv unplugged concert on yt a couple of weeks ago again and it just stuck with me
feel free to use anything from that concert..

rules:
1. collab with someone.. or multiple someones..
2. use any of the samples
3. outside samples and anything else allowed to embellish..

week is one day longer till Thursday night Pacific and Friday morning 09:00 CET

Yo what's good peeps?

Me and 5XVT teamed up for this weeks Collab.

I chopped up the sample, added drums, a background loop, and pulled the bass out from the sample.

5XVT Added in an accompanying bass to my existing filtered one
Added in some MF Doom Vox to the beginning using that uberduck thing
Added some Tape Stops in between the sections
Layered another Clap over the Snare
Added some more swing to the Kicks & Snare
Chopped up what I did with the 'Sample' to create an end bit with some additional choir Vox..

if it's things like the sample choice this week.. yeah, i understand.. was a bit of a particular choice..
i know you're not the only one who thinks that.. that's on me..

the Nelson Mandela Collab week has been going for 9 years now and started on the old forum.. before you came back.
but it sounds like it's more of a general thing for you?
things have been different for a long while i guess..
the haydays on the Stones Throw message board were awesome and i'm glad i was there for it..
times and stuff just change.
i wasn't around when you were doing STMB's so in that regard i might not even know what you mean..
i know you don't like special rules.. they've been around forever too (?)

anyway.. i'm sorry you don't enjoy them as much anymore..
obviously you're always welcome..
