Big Pink Floyd fan here.My favorite Pink Floyd album is “Wish You Were Here”. I wore that tape out in my walkman during high school.
Later on I was in a band. I went over to the guitar player and drummer’s place. We took two hits of peace sign acid each. We had rented on VHS “Pink Floyd:Live at Pompeii” and popped it in. Soon the strongest, most intense trip I have ever known kicked in. I remember at one point I thought David Gilmour was an angel. Shit was melting. Later on their dog was trying to tell me something but I couldn’t understand him. I laid a cigarette down while outside in the driveway. The cigarette rolled down the hill about 80m. There was this solid red line from the tip of the cigarette that stayed visible for a very long time. End of story.

Wow. 1000 battles. I'm not sure when my first battle was, I think it was in the early 300s. Anyways, I love this community and have had so much fun flipping with y'all. Here's to 1000 more!

Yo, what’s up everyone in the scene!
I couldn’t miss this challenge. First of all, it’s the 1000th one, happy birthday to that! And second, the sample is from one of my all-time favorite bands.
The beat came out super acid, like my first mushroom trip with Pink Floyd playing non-stop in the background.
Pink Floyd is one of my all time favorite bands, so being able to flip this amazing record alongside all of you for STBB1000 has been a great experience. For this one I used three songs from the record.

- Started with STBB222 and that was some Heavy Drama era
As the time passes so quick there weren't many battles I could lay hand on. I did 999 as well but my SD card crushed on me so I didn't force it forward. I had the busiest time ever so I didn't input much work into 1000 beat and probably lacking some good mixing as late nights aren't as fresh as early mornings But had fun chopping it up.

wanted to do something special for week 1000..
collab with ! ...
seeing our past ..it was tricky working with my son.. 22 y/0
we did a song when he was seven or so..and that was even a lil' traumatic perhaps..due to my impatience and preciseness..
but i managed to make something he found dope enough to rap on..
he asked for drill .. i did like 3 UK type sounds .. with my newly acquired sense of it listening to that, grime and phonk etc.
saurday nights in the shed .. w/ couch and pc and audio set up.. and an ash tray for him
we co wrote his verse ..and he delivered !..
he has a great voice !
the whole instru still feels sa lil' iffy to me.. not having a grasp on the style yet.
but it's time to let it go ! ..deadline plus my ears ringin' !
thanks everybody for forming this community..
